100$ card wont work.

hi guys,

im from germany and i have a big problem. i bought a 100$ card from the us microsoft store. i received the code but i cant use it on my us account.

the problem is the adress on my cc card. if i change the country to germany i can activate the code, but not use ist for germany, because wrong country.

if i change to usa i can use the code and the problem is the billing adress.

any help here? i think i lost 100$ / 90euro

Im trying to redeem my $25.00 prepaid card but im getting an "unexpected error"

i enter my code for the 3month card and it keeps saying error and to try again later... its been about 4 days and still no luck

 

Sorry to hear about your issues. Unfortunately currency is region locked and cannot be used for a region outside of where you live.

It is possible to change your region in order to use the card but you will not be able to change your region back for 90 days so your gamertag will be limited to only US content.

Furthermore, even though it is possible to change the region it is only recommended to do so when you are moving. This is because some content is region locked and, although you can purchase it, you could run into issues with downloading the content.
