    I’ve been a long time Xbox gamer, since the original Halo was released, and I’ve always found the console reliable and entertaining of course, now the product reliability is questionable. I’ve had the Xbox one for a couple years now and I’ve since only played
    games on it without any issues, and for the first time since purchasing this specific console I attempted to play a Blu-ray Disc, the movie being brand new btw and every time it shows an error message so it doesn’t work at all for movies (The same disc works
    fine on my PlayStation) I tried calling support and the machine hangs up on me after it announces my warranty has expired. Games work fine but what’s the the point of being called the “one” console for everything if it only work so for games? Anyways I’ll
    take my business elsewhere, instead of upgrading my Xbox I’ll just trash it and go to Sony Ps4 pro. Good ridance. Thanks for all the help.

    10 year anniversary xbox

    I got the helmet. I have had the account since beta too. Maybe it was which phase of beta you were in. I never went silver either but there was a time when I got my account locked for over a month because of tampering. I know support didn't have much
    in regards to answers. They just point you to the sweepstakes. Would be nice to have actual answers or appreciation without preferences.

    The simple solution is to give gamers the choice to connect the device or not & allow the console to still work if the gamer does not want to use Kinect.

    After 10 years of supporting Xbox I will not buy Xbox One if Kinect is mandatory for the console to work.
