    Yes you will need Xbox live. It works out at around £3.33 a month.

    Keep your eye out for some bargains on Xbox live.

    I think you might still get a 1 month free pass when you set your account up via the Xbox.

    You can currently get a 12 + 1 Month Xbox Live Gold Membership from CDKeys for £29.90.

    Sorry you're having issues with your gold subscription. If you signed up for the 1.00 Xbox live, you should be able to see it at your
    accounts page here under services and subscriptions. From your forum gamertag you're definitely silver. The accounts page will show a more detailed history and when you last had Xbox Live Gold. If
    you don't see it there, and it's not on your dashboard as a sign up promo you would need to contact
    customer support here.
