1 xbox live account with two people in 1 house?

I just bought an xbox 360 for my kids so they could play with their cousin on xbox live. We have a gold membership, but I can't make it so they can both play with him at the same time.

How do I make it so they can both play on xbox live with their cousin? If I have to pay for two memberships, we'll have to cancel the subscription altogether.

not really you need to be a live member or play on guest account

you can make a profile but most games will only accept a guest as non earning profiles

you can however purchase the family plan

which gives you 4 gamertags for the price of 2

is there a way for me to add an extra gamertag? so my wife can sign in and play without making it a guest or does she have to go and become a live member herself?

On the 360 each of your kids will need their own account & gold subscription in order to play with their cousin at the same time.

Okay let's say my account is on his Xbox One and his account is on my Xbox One, and we're in two separate houses. Let's say year 1 he buys live and puts it on his account, will my account have live as well at my house?

The new Xbox live system will be on both the Xbox One, and the 360. 1 account will cover the whole house, and all consoles.
