I doubt it. Between internal and external options right now there is more then storage space. Even without the external option there is ample storage space.

 

Absolutely, it may take a couple of years but it will happen. Remember when people thought that massive 20GB Premium Xbox 360 was going to have plenty of storage?

Yeah definately.

If you want to be able to play more than 10 games at any one time.

You've only got 324GB available for games on your ONE at the moment.

 

I bet in 10 years we'll see the X1 half the size and 5tb hard drives.

 

Yeah, MS will at some point release a newer version of the X1, with a smaller size and, more than likely, a larger HDD. This has always been a method of injecting more excitement into the end of a console's life cycle, and last gen both Sony and MS went
crazy with the different SKU's. So yes, I see that trend continuing.

 

with the use of external... there is no need for MS to change the production lines and specs like that

 

MS will definitely release a one with a larger HD. At least 1 possibly 2 tb.

 

No doubt it will happen but not for a few years, probably when competition puts a bigger hard drive in there console.

 

Hello Everyone

I just noticed that I made a typo in my last post, I was supposed to put 1 TB not 1 GB on the line "it is a strong possibility that a 1 GB Xbox One could happend". Sorry about that.

I certainly hope that Microsoft makes a 1 TB Xbox One because when I first got my 20 GB Xbox 360, I didn't think that I would need more space.

The 20 GB only has 13 GBs of free space. I've only been on-line for a little over 2 years and am now using two 32 GB Flash Drives (which are 75% full at the moment) for my installed Xbox 360 games / Arcade games.

Long story short, I'm going to wait for the next HDD upgrade for the Xbox One because I don't want to have anything sticking out uneccessarily (a.k.a the External HDD) like my two 32 GB Flash Drives that are currently sticking out of the front USB ports.

I could see it happening. A new design or the X1 slim with 1TB to boot. Though with external storage out now, there's little need for me to upgrade unless they look beaut like the 360S.

 

I was slightly concerned at how fast my Hdd was filling up .

After looking into sme prices , they are a lot cheaper than I thought .

Imo ... larger Hdd consoles will be sold as Special ed bundles , like Halo with 1t/b .

Ordinary consoles will remain 500 gig ...............Imo.
