1 month free

I never used the 1 month free when I got my new Xbox one so last night I finally used it since I didn't have the money to buy the time for another 3-12 months and it was working fine until I had a problem with logging in gta online. So I contacted a help
rep and he said he'd fix the problem by cancelling it but I assumed it would still be good for the month, I logged on today to play and turns out that month free was only good for 6 hours of playing since last night to early today. So I'm wondering how is
that fair that I know it's free but it still doesn't seem right that to fix a small technical problem turned into cancelling the entire month.

I got a neW account today but when I tryed to use my free 1 month pass it said Xbox had a error and I did not get to use it does anyone have any idea how I can get it back

You can only get the free 1 month when you first start your account/profile.

if you don't claim it when you start your account/profile then you can't claim it later.

 

What I forgot to add was that could I just be able to repurchase the month free?
