I have registered for a 1 Month Free Trial, I wanted to cancel my Registration but it seems that I have passed the first month and I will be charged for 7 €. how can I cancel my Registration now? and is it possibale to get a refund?

The older style consoles come with three trials. The new slims only come with one. If its not popping up, its already been used. It is possible someone got the console and returned it, even if you think you got it new.

To my knowledge, you can only get a refund on full months only. So for example, if you had renewed for 3, 6 or 12 months, and contacted support, you would get a refund for the remaining full months (so in this example you would "only" get 2, 5 or 11 months
respectively).

You can
try contacting support if they can do something, but don't get your hopes up, since the new month has "begun" already on your subscription.

Trials, I don't believe you can get a refund. If they are regular monthly ones, then refunds may be possible.

Hello!

Typically there are no refunds for the current month in subscriptions. The easiest way to cancel your subscription is to go to https://account.microsoft.com/services/ then find the subscription and click on the option to turn off auto renew.

You can attempt to request a refund by going here. Sign in to your Microsoft account

They updated the website as xbox noticed that people were setting up new accounts and setting them as there home xbox for free 1 month free trial

Just buy a 1 month trial as they are only 6.99euro for 1 month

This is hugely concerning to me. You should be able to cancel having to use the stupid joystick to enter all the info and go to a pc and not be penalized what is effectively $10. It's definitely making me reconsider signing up for the family gold pack. Sales
and marketing is always the best foot forward. Support and service only go downhill from there.

The free trial is usually only available while you're creating an account on the console (so if the account was already existing you wouldn't get the option) or if there is a special offer on the dashboard.
