$1 live gold not working?

I purchased the $1 for 1 month Xbox live gold last night. Got confirmation email. Went to play my New Elder Scrolls Morrowind game and it says I don't have Xbox live gold. Tried to use a code for a 14 day trial and it says it won't work cause I have an Xbox
live gold account already. They both telling me different things. The only way I could get ESO to work was to buy another month at full price, even though the one month says it allows multiplayer online functions. I feel like I've been ripped off. I should
be entitled to 2 months of live gold at least after dual purchases. Can't get any Microsoft or Xbox support or chats or anything to work on my computers. Only this forum thing. Can someone please tell me why the $1 live gold didn't work and how to complain
about it to Microsoft?

Xbox App on Windows 10 Preview[Major Nelson Preview Video]

I'm thinking he is referring to Xbox Live Gold. If that's the case, they've confirmed that you will not need to pay for Xbox Live Gold to access online modes/games for Windows 10.

Are you still having troubles with your Xbox Live subscription? If so, let's have you remove your profile from your Xbox One (power cycle by holding down the power button for 8-10 seconds), then add your profile back. Let us know how it goes

 

I tried all of that but it doesnt work :/
