1 live account with an X1 and a 360?

Is it possible to share a single live account across an Xbox one and a 360? Or will I need a second live account for my 360?

As others have said, your Live account can be present on a 360 and X1 at the same time and you can be signed into Live on both consoles with this account at the same time.

How does Xbox Live work between Xbox Ones

This Christmas I am upgrading both my daughters and my 360 to Xbox One. I am curious what I need to do for live and how it works between different X1's. I'm under the assumption with live home if I put all the gamer tags on my X1 (the main X1) then my daughter
can still use her gamer tag and play games and use live on her X1 separately. Similar to the old family plan. Or if I'm wrong do I need 2 live accounts for both of us to go online at once. Also with the transferring games. If there is a game on 1 of them can
it also be played on the second one? Any help would be grateful. I already spent a lot on the X1's and new games and accessories. I just want to make sure I only need 1 Live account for both of us or if I need to buy another one.

I do exactly this. Paid for 1 year on my xb1 for live sub and then bought a 360 console and use the same gamertag on it. Works great. I don't think you can be signed into both consoles at the same time though with the same gamertag. I could be wrong though.

You can be signed into both at the same time. I do that when I download games to my 360 so I can play something else on the One while I wait.

Does anyone know if both downloads for X1 and 360 have to on the same Xbox live account? I wanna download the 360 version on my son's 360 and my X1! Thanks! If theres already a post on this, let me know! Thanks in advance.

I'm using Dlink for my main router, wired to Apple station. X1 is on wifi.

I think that all of this is because of the conflict between 1 and 360. I have tried unplugging 360. The result:

- 1 at 54% packet loss;

- 360 can't connect to Live at all.

My X1 problems have started since last update, btw. Hard reset of Dlink/X1 is yet to yeld any results. Packet loss down from 80 to 54.
