1 game and Two consoles prevention

I've just bought mortal kombat X through the Xbox store and I want to let my friends play it at their house when I go over this weekend. Of course I have to download it over there. I was just wondering if after I download it at my friends house and go back
home to play can they still play the game because I don't want that to happen since they never paid any money for it?

hi all

i am thinking of getting another new console for upstairs to let the other half hog the downstairs tv.lol

the question i am asking is can i transfer the profile and other info that goes with it to the one that i will use upstairs and still use it on both machines??..just it will be a lot easier to get a new console than having to unplug everything all the time
and reduce damage/wear on everything and if not will it let me register a new account to the same email address i use on the machine i currently have?

As of the last major update, you may download your profile to as many consoles as you wish. Combined with Cloud Storage, and you can move between consoles without needing to use any other storage devices.



Having said all that, I don't recommend it.



While you can download your profile to any console, you'll have to key in your Live ID password to access the profile. You can elect to store the password on the console, but then the only thing stoping someone from using your profile is your Live password
(assuming you set one). Four button presses aren't hard to watch and learn.



While you can enable cloud storage for games, the storage does NOT sync across consoles until you run the game associated with each save game file. Say you play Halo Anniversary and Saints Row The Third on Console A, saving your progress to Cloud Storage.
Now you go to Console B and play Halo Anniversary. Great, your Halo Anniversary save games sync to Console B. Now try installing Mass Effect 3 to Console B without first playing Saints Row The Third. You'll find the installer "hangs", waiting for your Cloud
Storage to sync. The only workarounda are to either start up Saints Row The Third, or log out of Console B, install, then log back in.



The best solution for moving your profile and save games between consoles continues to be a USB Memory Unit on a USB flash drive.

 

Delete your account off there xbox before you leave that will sort it

 

Require a password for your profile that will prevent them

From signing you in and being able to play the game

 

As cheesy said -- Delete your account off of their Xbox when you leave. I don't know your friends, and I'm sure they are swell guys/gals, but I wouldn't trust anyone with my account. If it's not too much of a hassle, you could just bring your Xbox to their
house. That way, you wouldn't have to download the entire game at your friends before you play.
