    The $1 for 1 month is only good for that 1 month. After the month is over, it would renew at the regular price each month unless you turn off auto-renewal, which you did. So you should only be charge that $1 for that 1 month and nothing else unless you purchase
    Live again and turn auto-renewal back on. 1 $ for one month is good again ? :)

    Recurring xbox live $1/mo for a year?

    The $1 deal is only good for the first month, but if it appears again on the dashboard then you could totally take part in it again. There's no way to just reset it though. The only other way he could be getting it for $1 is by purchasing it as a code through
    some other website if there is one.
