1$ for 1 month of Gold

The limited offer for the xbox live gold 1 month for 1$ isnt working for me, its been about half a month it tells me when i confirm to pay. Here's what it says : ( Impossible to connect to Xbox Live. You must try later ---- to subscribe later, go to settings,
account and choose a subscription level change

It always gets stuck here and can't buy any gold anymore, whats the issue to this problem?

So I just got an xbox over ps3 and when trying to upgrade to the $1 dollar gold account its says error could not get information from xbox live? Whats that about the credit card is good and my info is good I checked it a thousand times, anyone help me figure
out whats wrong with it

$1 for 1 month of gold

You can't remove a credit card from an active gold account. So once you purchase the gold, you would have to turn off auto-renewal either through the website or by calling.

Have you had Xbox Live Gold on your account before? I believe this promotion is only for new customers. So unless, you are brand new to Xbox Live, it won't work for you.

Update. I just activated the free trial successfully and when I did the 1 month for $1 deal disappeared from the list. So I guess I couldn't do 2 months for $1. Ah well.

The $1 deal is usually only offered to free members. So you might see it again after your month expires, but offers do vary.

Ah okay I have been a member for a while now but can't remember if I ever used the free gold trial. I saw it as an option on a webpage somewhere. I guess I could just try to see if it worked. I was just concerned that if I did the free trial and then did
the 1 month for $1 it would overwrite the free month. But for $1 I guess I couldn't complain! Thanks.

You're posting from a free account. I don't think you'll be able to activate the free month of Gold at this point: it's an offer when you are creating the Xbox Live account, and if you decline it you don't get another offer for that account. (At least,
that's how it used to work.)

If you purchase a 1 Month for $1 offer, you get the full Gold membership including Games With Gold. You are signing up for the recurring monthly subscription and billing if you do that, so be sure to turn off automatic renewal if you do not want to
keep paying for a Gold subscription at the regular monthly rate.
