1 Felony, 2 Misdemeanors [mod removed]

** WARNING: This post is going to be long, but I promise it will be entertaining **

My children are being stalked through XBL.

A wannabe hacker did a DOS attack on our ip (thinks he's special for being able to do this I guess, even though we all know any dimwit with access to google can do this). But this moron has taken in a few steps to far. He used our ip and did a lookup for
our address (again, nothing a 6yr old can't do). He got our names from looking at our bundle from our provider, and just like a looser who has no real friends or life, he continued to dig, dig, dig. (yes, like a dog) So for 4 days, including a holiday weekend
Saturday night, he harassed us. He called our home phone and....

1. Threatened physical violence on a minor son.

2. Threatened sexual violence on my wife and daughter

3. Threatened to use our credit cards to buy us a boat (as if my credit limit could possibly...if so, and you're reading this, I'd like a Red Bass boat please)

4. Threatened to steal our identities and ruin us.

5. Used intimidating language while describing our neighborhood and house (only this elite hacker has access to google maps apparently)

6. Admitted to stalking our son and all of the above ON TAPE (yes we recorded him. State law only requires one party to be aware, but we told him anyway, because we knew his ego wouldn't let him stop and hang up. Instead he claimed "I can't be caught...there
are no consequences" )

Normally we'd just hang up on a fool and ignore, but this idiot was persistent, so we just let him talk and talk and talk and therefore managed to get himself deeper and deeper in the s**t. Give a fool enough rope you know? What he doesn't know is, his
mouth just wrote a check, his butt can't cash.

So after all this he ordered pizza and set it to our house. (lol, no really, he did...pizza. He's going to kill us with high cholesterol!!) I should thank him because he ordered a great mix of pizza, wings and breadsticks and they were yummy. However he
didn't use our credit card to pay for it (like a good hacker would) instead he set it to "pay cash upon delivery". (noob) So, after explaining what was happening to the delivery driver and calling the manager, we got free pizza!!! They weren't going to
make us pay for it and they were just going to throw it away so they left it with us. (the wings were my favorite).

The manager called corporate and put their IT cyber sleuth on the hunt. Apparently this national chain doesn't take kindly to making product and not getting paid and when you add up all the instances they get in a year, it is a really significant dollar
amount and well...they are kinda *** about it. Apparently they prosecute to the fullest extent of the law. (there is some of the rope I was talking about)

So, the cops got involved because, a police report is needed to get some info from service providers and such which corporate needed to get the ball rolling. The cops were very helpful, and put us in touch with a detective at a nearby cyber crimes division.
( out city is too small for their own, they are part of a joint task force with multiple communities that pool resources). We got to talking, and he mentioned how DHS (department of homeland security) is to be informed of this because of the growing threat
of cyber terrorism (homegrown as well as foreign). They have an extensive database with cases currently being investigated. He didn't say as much, but I thing they were cooperating with the NSA. (that was a joke, but could be possible) Anyway, he mentioned
a name at DHS that I recognized. See I work at a chemical manufacturer and we have what is classified as a DHS "chemical of interest" (google it) on site, and ever since 9/11 DHS has their eye on these chemicals so they can't be stolen and used in attacks
on our soil. Because of this, laws have been passed in regards to who can handle, purchase, and sell these chemicals and who has access to them. Everything is closely tracked and monitored, background checks, etc... We even had to upgrade our on site security
to comply with the new laws. As part of this, each site has a team to ensure the protocols are being followed. Every year the DHS brings a team in to do a security audit of our facility and our team works hand in hand with them in this process. You won't
believe this, but the DHS guy the cyber crimes detective was going to report to is none other than the team leader who audited our site the last 2 years. And I'm on our team! I know this guy personally and we have kids that same age and some same hobbies....this
guy has actually come to be called a friend. So, I called him to let him know this case involved my kids and family. (more rope...getting..tighter....)

Getting DOSed is one thing, but when you start to threaten a guys family it is over the line. And if you're gonna have the balls to do it, I suggest you know beyond the shadow of a doubt who you are messing with. And I mean REALLY know who you are messing
with, and to be honest you CAN"T really know who you are messing with. Not every friend, family member, and business associate is online or in a guys facebook. You can't possibly know everything you need to know using internet fingerprints. Sometime, us
old school fellas where gloves. I personally have associates that are banned by law from having any social media (use your imagination as to why) so you'll never be able to connect us via electronic communications because there are none. My snail mail still
works and the two of us sit next to each other while fishing just fine w/o need for the internet. I'm just showing you can't known everything.

The cops who came to the house counted 1 felony, and 2 misdemeanors. The felony triggered the task force being called, and this doesn't include what the pizza chain is doing.

So this is in motion and there is nothing I can do about it now. It's out of my hands. The problem I'm having is, this process takes time and to be honest the wait is rather boring. I may be older, but I still enjoy instant gratification. So I'm posting
this in the hopes that the powers that be would see fit to ban this guys GT. I realize that he'll have another one in a few minuets and probably has one waiting but still, it would put a smile on my face to know he knows that I know...you know? Anyway, he
will still have to go through to process and that is a moment he won't be enjoying himself, so I'm happy.

Again [mod removed] is to be avoided as he's a pest. Like a mosquito. Unless you like mosquitoes.

sorry you cannot post game tags on the forum all you can do is report them via your dashboard then reset your modem/router by unplugging them and plugging them back in if it is still an issue contact your ISP. MS has NO control over those who bump you offline
as they are NOT doing it through the Live service they are knocking your ENTIRE network offline not just Live.

 

Customer support told me to do this. I'm just following directions.

 

customer support is wrong the forum has a no naming and shaming policy I wish they would get the correct info on what you can and cannot post in the forums.
