    Nothing.

    Run down:

    1) Bought pvz gw 2 deluxe for my son

    2) kids lose code

    3) call xbox they say call walmart

    4) call walmart they say call supplier

    5) supplier cant help so i call ea

    6) ea says its an xbox live issue they cant help

    7) xbox live stands by the idea that this isn't an issue they can help with

So after 15 plus years of buying consoles (2 360s because one broke) and countless games xbox smiles as a marketing strategy to sell paper products that can be lost rather then put the code in the disk or on the box works in their favor. Congrats Xbox,
I'm as brand loyal as they come and you are choosing to dump me over a 9.99 download. You probably won't miss the profits I provided but for what its worth thats my story, no customer focus.

    :)

  2. The Decade Club - how much does it suck?

I also have a solid decade of Xbox loyalty.

    -

It feels weird. I started out with SNES then N64. Then Xbox and Xbox 360. Now It's onto PlayStation.

    Goodbye to Microsoft

OP, you are basically stating that your loyalty is worth $75.

Any code you purchase does state that Microsoft is not responsible for lost or stolen codes. There really aren't any companies that will do anything if you lose the code.

I understand, but don't kid yourself. These codes aren't on the box or CD so that they are easier to lose. So the question is this profit technique worth losing customers over? Anyway, not here to argue just wanted to state I know they aren't obligated.

Personally, I can't see totally leaving a company over user error. It would be entirely different if something were wrong with the code and they wouldn't do anything to help there.

Last Christmas I got my bonus from work. So with part of the bonus I bought myself a €50 MS points. Well before I went home I ran into some friends as we were all Christmas shopping and the town was really busy and the bars were hopping so I decided to go
for a few before I went home. That few turned into many and I lost the piece of paper. Even though I put it into my wallet I still lost it. I don't know how, but I probably thought it was rubbish after I got drunk. It was probably all of the shots plus I was
drinking the beer called Duval. It's like 8.5%

The next morning sucked. I woke up on my couch with my jacket still on. I checked my pockets and my wallet like 100 times. I even walked in my neighborhood to see if I dropped it during my drunken stupor. I rang Gamestop and needless to say there was nothing
that could be done. I had to buy another €50 worth of credit. It still annoys me to this day that I lost it. Had a great night though. My wife actually had pity on me and didn't give out to me all that much.

    ^Hahaha, that's pretty funny dude.

I couldn't find a deal on Xbox Live Gold at the time so I sucked it up and bought a full price one from the local retailer. I can't remember what I was doing at the time, but I scratched the shiny silver stuff off so hard that I ended up scratching half
the code off as well. I've spent hours trying to figure it out, but to no avail. I still have the card and I'm guessing there's still 12 months of gold sitting on it. Chalked that one up to another $80 life lesson which I won't soon forget, haha.

OP, I think you're choosing to dump them over 9.99, not the other way around....
