1.2 beta problems minecraft

Sleepingweasal, you are getting confused with the version numbers--version 1.2 was released on the PC
EIGHT MONTHS AFTER Beta version 1.7.3.



You need to keep in mind that the version being released on Xbox this week or next is not "1.7.3.", but rather "Beta 1.7.3." The game left beta in November 2011 with version 1.0. So version 1.2. is well AFTER Beta 1.7.3.



Jungles and jungle trees were released with version 1.2 on MARCH 1, 2012. The version being released on Xbox 360 soon is Beta version 1.7.3. that released on PC on JULY 8, 2011. So if the Xbox 360 version stayed a year behind the PC version, you can expect
to see your jungle trees in March of 2013.

So long as you've got patch 1.2 there shouldn't be any problems with textures not loading correctly when the game is installed to the HDD.



As for patch 1.2 itself, it breaks more than it fixes IMO. Patch 1.3 should be out soon enough (and should fix what 1.2 broke).

Have the same problem. Unenrolled from beta testing in Xbox Insider Hub. Restarted. Reinstalled Minecraft. Open Minecraft. Is beta. Uninstalled Minecraft, waited 24hrs, restarted. Installed Minecraft from store. Still beta. Have multiple licenses of this
game to play it with my kids who are under 13 and thus cannot join the Insider hub. I can't use the beta version to play with them so this is keeping me from enjoying this game. please fix.

4J Studios expects to release 2 updates, 1.8.2 beta and then the 1.2 update. No details about the contents of either but the PC counterparts should give you a good indication on what to expect. If they follow exactly as the PC updates did then the 1.2 update
will have enchanting; but you never know.
