    Good afternoon. There was a problem with the console. including the game from the compact discards the error code 0xd0000189. I tried to delete and re-record the game, but no changes. I also searched for the error code 0xd0000189
    on the site. but there is no information on such a code.

    Ive got exactly the same error. Xbox one is now unable.Microsft need to bring a patch out quick as this never happened with a PS4.....

    Me too. Locked out of doing anything but turn the xbox on. Everything else gives a 'Something went wrong' message and the tip to come to xbox and enter the error code 0xd0000189.

    Bit late on the thread but for any future viewers stressing over this issue: Solve goes as follows: Hard Reset (Hold Power for 10 secs) remove power cable for 30 sec + reinsert Hit Power on Quickly hold the Bind Button (for your wireless devices, located
    bottom right on Xbox One S - X) And the Eject Button (beside disk tray) together until you hear a second Power On sound. Then you’re ok to let them go. This will prompt a new screen to appear, navigate to Restart/Reset Console. From there you’ll have an

    Ok, same code error for me and my fix... I hit the big white X button the my controller and selected RESTART. That fixed my problem. (I had just turned off and on my console before and it didn't work.)

    I got the same error for the past week, when I tried to report the problem using the app, it just shut down.

    So, if you've still getting that error, just clear the cache, it worked for me.

    In case you don't know how to clear the cache:

    - Hold down the console's power button for 5 or 10 seconds until the Xbox shuts down;

    - Unplug the power cable from the back of the console;

    - Wait one minute or two, then plug the cable back in and switch your Xbox on.

    Note: don't worry if the console takes more time than usual to boot up, it's normal.
