0x91d7000e error Title Load (Atmos + Samsung HW-950)

Anyone else having similar issues here? While I was floored by the HW-950 not being able to transcode Master Audio tracks (thanks Samsung), the latest issue I've had with my setup is that during the original Hunger Games 4K disc load, the Lionsgate video
isn't able to be transcoded by the Samsung. The XBOX stops playback with the 0x91d7000e error. Basically, I can't even play that one in Atmos - major disappointment.

Microsoft - any way to get rid of that error screen? I really don't care if zero audio comes out in the title loads. Trying to go and flip it on and off in the settings menu reloads the Blu-ray completely. What are the guarantees this won't happen with other
titles as I convert my collection? Any plans to do all the Atmos audio processing (based on the Atmos audio 'output' setting that doesn't work yet)?

Dolby Atmos

Alright, someone else who has my same setup here. So I bought the HW-950 myself and was thoroughly disappointed to learn that the Master Audio on a majority of my discs are not transcoded on this system. Basically at the mercy of the DTS transcoding from
the XBOX. If you are passing audio through, you just need to do this via the Blu-Ray Disc menu under Settings. There is a 'let my receiver do the transcoding' option and that will send it via HDMI. This was rolled out in the latest update. This is not the
setting under Audio Settings, which exists but doesn't work. I'd like to have the XBOX do all the transcoding personally and pass it upstream.

4k Blu Ray issues.

I just bought the 4k version of Man of Steel but my Xbox One S tells me that I have to disable the audio that'll decode it in Dolby Atmos. My setup is Xbox One S 65" Samsung 4k tv and Samsung HW-K950 sound bar system that supports Dolby Atmos.

 

To close this one out, if you download the Dolby application (currently now available in the App Store) which happens if you try to select Atmos (home theater) under Audio settings, it will let you engage this option. It will output everything as Atmos bitstream,
which is interesting even if it isn't. Basically, anything not really Atmos it seems to send all 'surround data' to use the Atmos speakers which gives you enhanced surround elements. Testing out Hunger Games while having disabled the 'pass through' media option
under Blu-ray, it lets it load completely without throwing the 0x error and it appears that Atmos is really played. Testing this against the forest fire scene is particularly a good test. Obviously, the Dolby app plays the Atmos soundtracks beautifully - one
of which is the same demo track they used in most Magnolia Best Buy stores.

The only problem with having 'everything' outputted as Atmos means everything has a delay for when the HW-950 picks Atmos signal up. It also sometimes navigating through the XBOX menus creates a popping sound. Oh well - can't have everything. Atmos is better
than no Atmos.
