I am not connected to Xbox live, but when I try to enter my network settings error 0x90070490 appears. When I search the error code, it apparently doesn't exist. Can somebody help me?

actually i might have a suggestion you can try to reset you're xbox without removing data.

This started happening to us yesterday. I was able to sign out to see if it would allow me to sign in and now I cannot sign in again. This is very frustrating.

I'm having the same issue starting from today.

Wi-Fi is working but as soon as I try to enter in the Wi-Fi configuration, I have the error message. I did reset of Xbox with no succes.... help..

Strangest thing ever... just happened to me a couple of minutes I restarted my xbox, took out the router... EVERYTHING and it won't work, currently working on a solution if I find one I will reply back to you all

 

I hope that this helps someone, but I just experienced the same issue. Connected a support person from xbox... which took a really long time... and they had me follow these steps which worked brilliantly.

1. unplug the network cable.

2. power down the Xbox box.

3. unplug the power cable, wait 30 seconds.

4. plug the power cable back in.

5. hold the BIND button, the EJECT button, and Power button (in that order) for 15 seconds. Wait for there to be 2 (two) power on sounds.

6. Select "Reset the Xbox"

7. Select "Save games & Apps"

8. That was it, I then had to just reconnect the network cable and go back through the setup.

Now everything is working as it should. I hope this post helps someone else that has this same problem.
