    SYSTEM UPDATE HAS ERROR WHILST UPDATING!

    Hi, A friend of my family, has recently given me their Xbox One (i think because they got a PS4) I don’t know how long they had it but now when i go onto it, i have to perform a system update, this is fine on all other consoles i have, however, when IT REACHES
    10% it stops updating and says “There was a problem with the update” ‘You need this update to use your console, but something went wrong’ etc. The error code given is 0x8b05008e IF ANYONE COULD HELP IT WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED

    I got this error code:
    0x8b05008e 0x00000000 0x00000304 on my Xbox one when I tried to get an update can someone help me? I try clearing my cash, tried reciting the xbox, tried unplugging it for 30 seconds, Unplug
    the network cable the plugging it back in, tried reciting the modem for the internet, also tried plugging the xbox right in to the wall, and also tried doing a factory recite without using the offline way. Is they something else I can do. thx for any help.

    They offline update, followed by the online update. It requires a few restarts also
