0x89231804 error code and getting kicked from party

Hi recently I've been getting an issue where im kicked from xbox parties, it says "your party has encountered an error please try again later 0x89231804"

My brother who lives in the same house is also having the same issue with the same error code, I've checked our nat types and it is coming back as open.

This issue had gone away for a couple of days and then last night i was kicked from our party about 7 times.

Hi.. Yes i have tried that, I've also restarted my router aswell. I've also cleared persistent storage and alternate mac

My xbox is connected using wired & my brothers is connected using WiFi.

The issue started on and off about 2 months ago, after it's kicked you out a fair few times it will let you stay in the party.

I've done the connection tests on my xbox and everything is coming back fine

have you tried to powercycle the xbox by holding the on button for 5-10 seconds to see if that fixes the issue

Sorry to hear it. The error codes do suggest an NAT issue. Please try power cycling the console by holding the power button on it 10 seconds until it shuts down. When it is off unplug everything from it and let it sit for 5 minutes. During this time
power cycle your modem/router by unplugging for 10 seconds.

When it is back up and running reconnect the wires on your console and power up again.

If that still doesn't work then you may need to contact your ISP for more assistance or try using an ethernet cable if your are connected wirelessly

Sorry for the issue with party chat. We recommend
power cycle the console and network hardware. Then once the network hardware fully boots up turn on the console and try a party chat.
