Trying to start any game and I keep having this error thrown : 0x87e107f2

:)

 

Error 0x87e107f2 possible Fix/Solution

Step 1: Press Home

Step 2: Find your way to All settings on the Gear tab at bottom.

Step 3: Go to Disc & Blu-ray tab Selecting Blu-ray

Step 4: Select Persistent storage (This is like cache)

Step 5: Clear persistent storage 3 times.

Step 6: Press Home

Step 7: Find your way to All settings on the Gear tab at bottom.

Step 8: Go to Power & Startup tab Selecting Turn off or restart

Step 9: Select Full Shutdown

Step 10: When Console is fully shutdown remove all External devices. (Hard Drives/Chargers/Wireless receiving devices)

Step 11: Turn Console back on via the touch power button on front of console. (NOT VIA CONTROLLER)

Step 12: Once Console is back On you can then turn on controller.

Step 13: Sign out of Xbox Live via the Home button and going up to the upper left. (WAIT 30 SECONDS OR LONGER)

Step 14: Sign back into Xbox Live (WAIT ANOTHER 30 SECONDS OR LONGER)

Step 15: Select a digital game or app from your internal hard drive. (The game or app should have started properly with no errors)

Step 16: Once a game or app has properly started any external devices can be plugged back in.

 

Leave your console on for a few minutes while signed in and it should go away

 

i tired everything it doesn't work the new update messed something up.

 

After the update 1705.170512-1759 I can no longer play Destiny, there is the same error message : 0x87e107f2

I can still play other games like Black Ops 3.

 

Seems limited to accessing digital games following the latest Insider Alpha Ring update. Hard reset didn't resolve the problem, and the offline update failed. I'm now trying full factory reset (a pain, but them's the breaks if you're an insider) and I'll
let everyone know how I get on.

 

And... that hasn't worked, either. Well done, Microsoft!

 

Ooh... wait... it might have... yes, that's worked, though Destiny is making me do a second-stage reinstall (silly Destiny using proprietary installer!)

 

Happening with my disc based games as well, same as BC games, netflix works, nothing else same error code.

 

Same here. Cant start any digital games only games that are on disc will start

 

Just to update you. My digital games and apps are now working. It has taken approximately 2 hours but it seems to fix itself. Others have stated it worked after 10 minutes so it maybe due to the size of your digital collection as I have quite alot. Seems
that it's just a waiting game.

Thanks for the update. Gives me hope. Though with 300 digital games downloaded I might be waiting a while...

 

Same with me, seems to be on any game I own and not on game shared games
