Have you tried uninstalling it, doing a hard reset to clear the cache, then installing it again?

Hi Asael M, my name is Daniel. I am an independent advisor who is willing to help you.

For me, it is an honor to write to you and try to help you in any way possible, for my part I will do my best to try to solve any questions/problems you are presenting.

I'm sorry to hear that you are having a problem with error code 0x87E1000C, this mostly happens when an application is still installing or was not installed correctly (Due to some corrupt file).

The first step is the game or application is still being installed, wait until the process is finished or until the item is ready to launch. Next, try to start it again, if it is already installed it may not have been installed correctly so let's go to the next step.

Let's try uninstalling and installing the game again, following these steps:

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide, then select My games & apps.
    2. Select See all and search for the game or app you are trying to install.
    3. With the item in focus, press the Menu button on the controller and select Uninstall.
    4. Press and hold the Xbox button and select Reset console.
    5. Go to My games & apps > See all > Games, then go to the Ready to install tab, select the item, and follow the on-screen instructions to reinstall it.

Note: If you are installing from the Store, you may have to go back there and start the download again. You can take a look at the following link where you can find more information regarding this problem:

    https://support.xbox.com/help/errors/error-code-0x87E1000C

If none of this works, let's try restoring your console while keeping your games and applications. This process will not delete anything from your Account/Console It will only restore or fix any corrupt files that are in the system preventing its proper functioning.

    1. Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
    2. Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console information > Reset console.
    3. Select Reset and keep my games and apps. This will reset the operating system and remove all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or apps.

When prompted to extract settings from an old Xbox, type no. You must remember your credentials to log in to your account again.

I hope you understand, I wish you good luck.

    Best regards,
    Daniel.

    Hello asael marroquin1,

Thank you for posting in the Microsoft Community.

This error means that the game installation is corrupted and cannot be completed. I understand that you have tried some troubleshooting steps such as restarting your console, downloading the game from the Microsoft store and clearing your data. However, I need to ask you some more questions to find the best solution for you.

    - What is the model and version of your Xbox console?

    - How much free space do you have on your internal storage and external storage (if any)?

    - Are you installing the game from a disc or a digital download?

    - Have you tried installing the game on a different storage device or a different console?

    - Have you checked your network connection and speed?

    - Do you have any other games that are having the same issue?

I found an article related with your concern and as per MrWinters on thread (0x87e1000c) Game is corrupt and won't install. (FIXED) - Microsoft Community turning the background download off and turning off instant turn on, clearing data and using my internal storage altogether fixed the problem.

Please see: Error 0x87E1000C occurs when you try to open a game or app on Xbox | Xbox Support / Troubleshoot game or app installation problems on your Xbox console | Xbox Support

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns. I appreciate your cooperation and understanding. Have a great day!
