    Does this mean I basically purchased a broken x box and there is nothing I can do about it? Everything is brand new even the game and I can not even play it. I looked online and tried many restart methods and nothing seems to fix the problem. Can somebody
    from Microsoft actually help me with this? Or and I just making a complaint on this site just like everyone else who seems not to get any actual help at All? Someone let me know. Seems like I just bought an expensive white Microsoft brick. This never happened
    with any PlayStation I've ever owned. ( no offense Microsoft, but wth? )

    Mine installs to 50% then says error code 0x87e00064. It says the game might be damaged or broken, but this is my 2nd copy brand new

    If the posts above were actually read you would see that I have swapped the game disc and confirmed that the problem is not with the disc.

    I came to the conclusion (on my own) that the console was faulty prior to your last post and it has been sent back for repair.

    So I stand by my previous comment that this thread has been no help and answers have not been forthcoming about what the issue is.

    I had problems installing Halo Master Chief. Error always occurs in 27% of the offline installation and replace the disk with another new media 2x. What is happening? Is there a solution to this problem? All 23 other games run normally. I made the steps
    of the xbox support, but still failure occurs .

    The trouble I will have with that is that software returns are specifically excluded in the terms of sale. It will be a long up hill battle to get the retailer to give me money back on opened software. (I guess they have to assume I am up to no good although
    I am just trying to get resolution on this issue)

    I may try and do a replacement (again) at a different branch of the same retailer, no idea if they will accept or not. In the mean time, a response from MS would be appreciated.

    that's strange

    have You got the same problems?

    maybe it depends from the region? Poland?

    other games works propertly
