0x87e0000f error downloading digital game. Anyone have a fix?

I am really pretty disappointed with xbox right now. My saga started when Xmas of 2015 I decided to upgrade to a xbox one from a 360. At the time of purchase it would not complete the day one update so I just played fallout 4 offline. I don't game as much
as I used to so I didn't even try updating again, keep in mind I purchased a gold live account in December 2015. So in June I decided I wanted to do some gaming online and also play online. I pay for a digital copy of dragon age Inquisition on my phone and
figure all will be good. Ha! Right..... so the Xbox would not complete the day one update, it would get stuck at 91% every time. Tried the manual download to a USB fix and still wouldn't work. Contacted support through chat and they said send it in,
so I did. Get xbox back 2 weeks later try it out and bam same issue stops at 91%. Get back on with support chat and they offer to send me a new unit. Now at this point I have the live subscription and a paid for digital game which I have not been able to use
at all, not once. New unit shows up and it took 3 trys to get the day one update completed, but I'm stoked cause now it's online and I can go get my digital game. Go to download game and here we go again, download gets to 3% and gives me a 0x87e0000f error.
It's not my connection because I can run a Netflix movie and stream music while doing the download and they have no issues, Xbox does the same thing regardless. Take a look online and I find many posts here for this error code, however none of them are solved
and some are over a year old. Which seams strange because there is a bazillion other complaints when I Google it. Does anyone have a clue how to resolve this issue?

If I don't have a resolution by this weekend I am going to just call the purchase of the Xbox one a loss, and get my money back for the unused products I have purchased. Microsoft will then have lost a customer that has had an Xbox since the beginning and
a live subscriber since lives launch. I still like my 360 and I guess will have to check out what the ps4 has to offer.

Xbox One X game and update download issues

They are all digital downloads that I’ve bought awhile ago. Right now I have 5 games that start downloading and stop at a certain percentage and will not continue. They were all downloaded on my account. The error message that I’m getting is 0x87e0000f.

I keep getting error (0x87e0000f) when trying to install destiny 2 (digital copy). I'm only getting this problem with destiny 2, all other games install no problem. I've tried hard rebooting my console as well as leaving it on instant-on power settings but
nothing is working. Please Help.

 

My personal opinion of whats wrong is that I believe there must be some sort of minimal packet loss in my connection, nothing major enough that causes any other online service to not work, such as netfkix, but the xbox must be extra sensitive.

 

Hi, if you use a wireless connection with the Xbox can you try a wired connection at all?

also give this a shot, remove the partial install before doing this and then try the install again

Go to settings/ all settings/ network/ advanced settings/ alternate MAC address, select the clear option and then the restart option.

If after doing that the install still hangs try a factory reset, select the option to keep your games/apps.
