    Same issue! Attempting to update game... Installation stops for unknown reason. Stuck at 20% Game needs to finish installing or show ready to start before it can be launched. Try to update again. Item attempts to install and stops again at 20%. @xboxlive
    help immediately needed!

    Hi there,

    please try to the following steps:

    1. stop and remove the install via My games and apps (queue)

    2. Physically power cycle the console via the steps mentioned here: https://support.xbox.com/en-us/xbox-one/console/power-cycle-console make sure that the console that the
    console is off for at least 60 seconds before turning it on again

    3. Power console on again and try to download/update the game again.
