I spent money on a digital purchase of NBA 2K17 and for the last 2 weeks since I bought the game I have tried ever way to download it I can think of (besides using a disc). I keep getting error code (0x87e00005) after my download hits 9%. I have factory reset
my Xbox One, I have hard reset it, I have cleared the game cache, I have deleted all local saved games, I have deleted every game on it and tried to completely redownload it, and I am completely tired of not being able to play this game I bought for $80. If
anyone knows what to do I'd appreciate any help I can get.

Installation problem

The error code is 0x87E00005

 

If you get this error code, the problem is NOT with your ISP(Internet Service Provider). I can tell you that this problem is very wide in the sense that it happens to a lot of things; I got the error while downloading digital version of Resident Evil 6,
Darksiders Warmastered Edition, DLCs for Dead Rising 4, and much more... After talking with an Xbox One support person (at least I think it was a person), I came down to the conclusion that the problem is coming from Microsoft or their servers for downloading
stuff. I say this because I did the factory reset as well (choosing the option that wipes EVERYTHING), and the support person I talked to ultimately pointed me to the companies owning the things I failed to download/use.
The only thing that has ever worked for me in the end was canceling the failed downloads and start it over again (knowing FULL WELL this would have impacted my internet usage if I had not chosen the unlimited usage option). The only thing I
do not know is if the problem is worldwide or localized to a few select locations.
