0x87e00005 - can't update games

Before the holidays we started to have trouble installing/updating games on our original Xbox One. The kids could play Minecraft over the internet and use the Kinect to Skype with cousins while playing with no issues. But when the system tried to update
a game - it would work for awhile then just suddenly die and stop. When it stopped the install the only error code it gave was 0x87e00005. It would do this one the wireless as well as directly wired to our cable modem (by passing the router), and wired from
the router. We have no caps and 15 meg down service. When it was wired to the router I could see the data being downloaded and then it would just stop. Restart the update and I could see data (1600 to 2250+ KB/s) being moved by the Xbox for a few minutes
- then nothing.

Testing the network on the xBox yields no information - everything tests out perfectly fine. It sees and is connected to the network, it reports it is fine for multiplayer games and the advanced stats are correct (IP, NAT settings, up/down speeds etc...)

Deciding the Xbox had an issue - the kids pooled their Best Buy gift cards and we got a Xbox One S. We had the same problem. I could get games installed by going offline (why in the world it is trying to install via download when the game disk is in the
machine baffles me) but when updating anything large it fails. I was able to get Recore to install and update but Overwatch won't update - it is stuck at 20% (~2 gigs out of 10.x gigs) - even when left to update overnight.

I have been using the same cable modem and router fro over a year with zero issues with the network or the Xbox. I have done countless searches for the error code and I can't find anything. Other than one game - we have no been able to play any games during
the school break. I am at my wits end and am tired of dealing with this (everyday since Christmas).

errorcode: 0x87e00005

Getting the errorcode: 0x87e00005 all the time after the lastest Firmware update. I can't download and install games anymore. Using xbox one x. Sometimes the Downloads start but at ~20% they stop with this error.

Additionally - we have plenty of space internally and 97% of a 4 tb external drive free.
