0x87de07d1 error on purchased digital download game

the strange thing is that happens only on forza5 and not dead rising 3(i bought them on the same day with digital code).

maybe the users that are having problem playing dead rising are from a different region than the forza5 users? ex: forza5 europeans and dead rising americans (it is just a theory).

0x87de07d1 error on purchased digital download game

Just bought mad max and after playing an hour I got kicked to dash and I'm getting this error. I looked up the error and found lots of posts about MS region locking digital content, which is bull btw, but shouldn't be effecting me. I've hard reset multiple
times, cleared my MAC settings, signed in/out. Nothing's letting me play the game. This is useless, everyday I'm finding more reasons to give up on Xbox.

 

Digital Version GTAV (0x87de07d1)

After updating today 18/02/15 the digital version of the games GTA5 and Dying Light on my xbox one no longer work, and exit this error 0x87DE07D1. Before today's games had worked quietly...

 

i have both games , and both don´t work since the license denied over night :-(

 

Latest info from Microsoft is this is a temporary glitch with xbox live and should be fixed in the next few hrs/days If the game is registered with your account it will remain so and not to worry,

Finally someone with facts, Thanks for the post. A similar statement I had received. You could check the key and recognized as legal. The temporary trouble of live is the region lock to be with the codes, which can be subsequently invalidated the licenses
because of a no longer authorized region.

We can only wait and hope Microsoft fix this. The only reason Microsoft would not fix this and permanently ban us from using our games would be if the codes were somehow stolen but I think we would have heard by now if this was the case.

gRs Yago did you buy Forza and DR3 from the same person/region ? Strange if you did that one works and one does not.

P.S. There is another update for DR3 today I believe that is apparently 13Gb in size, it's for the new DLC

 

Yes, i bought the game from the same person (i'm italian). The strange thing is that Dead Rising is still working (even after the update ).

I would official information from Microsoft, will the codes be region locked? How much should we wait for this problem? My brother keeps asking me about Forza5 XD

 

I got the same error while trying to get a digital download. I thought it was that specific game at first, but now it's any/everything I try to download. I had to uninstall a game & reinstall it. The game got to 98% and won't finish. Same with the digital
download, got to 100% and headed to install. Then got an error. Netflix wasn't working for me today and gave me some sort of different error, so I uninstalled that and went to reinstall -- got to 98% and stopped.

 

Same problem here with Forza 5. That's so sad. I hope MIcrosoft fix this ! I payed for the game and it wasn't

cheap..

 

Can't believe I just had my reply from Microsoft about my problem with DR3 after two 90 minute calls with their support desk on Saturday I eventually convinced them that all their ideas weren't working and it needed to go higher they agreed eventually and
got my email today lmfao on how I should solve this problem on my original xbox and how I needed to buy a new hard drive for it WTF!!! just replied that it's not the xbox and it's not the 360 it's the fxbox one and if they don't get their backside in gear

Ps4 for me too... They told me today there is no way to undo the region lock, no way to refund, only disks are region free... I wouldn't count on that eighter... Pretty messed up. Xbox360 was a blast... Can't believe i got rid of it for this piece of crap
