    0x87de07d1 error for game that came loaded on new console


    I bought an Xbox one bundled with fallout 4 from GameStop about 3 weeks ago. It has played great until this morning. I try to load and get the error "Do you own this game or app?" Per the support docs, I've tried power cycling my console, but it didn't help.
    I can't actually find what to do in my situation, getting this error with a game that came preloaded, as it works like a digital copy though I don't exactly own the rights.

    error 0x87de07d1 after xbox live error

    Hi, for few days I've 0x87de07d1 error. Some games doesn't work. This happened after xbox live crash (about 22.02.2015).
    Can you explain what's going on? Not what
    you pay for the game, that you can not
    be played after some time. I look forward to
    rapid removal of the error.

    Technically speaking, you don't own the rights for a disc-based game, merely a license to play it.

    Anyways, on topic, have you tried to play the game since this all happened?? I was having issues playing a specific game last night, but eventually it let me after a few hours.

    Ive tried that as well and still not working.

    I don't know of this makes a difference but I bought a new game (far cry 4) and that worked fine with no problem.

    I tired to uninstall the game and that didn't work. It wont reinstall the game and i keep getting the same error(0x87de07d1)

    Hey everyone!

    Sorry to hear about the 0x87de07d1 error code issue! If you haven't already, I recommend giving the steps that Alariaria has suggested above. If the issue continues to occur give the following steps a try:

    • Press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 10 seconds.
    • Once your console is powered is powered off, unplug the power cord.
    • Wait 5 minutes and then plug in your console.
    • Power on your console and try to load one of the games that was experiencing the issue.
    Give the suggested steps a try and be sure to let us know the results!
