    On the day Minecraft releases and I want to play with my friends I can't, it's just my luck. If I didn't have bad luck I'd have no luck at all... Hopefully Microsoft fix the issues by tomorrow.

    Yeah it's driving me mad thought it was my internet restarted everything including redone all the ports etc and I started a party invited a friend and this came up 0x87c40001 :(

    ive just lost all friends list and party realy make not want to have a xbox no more iv had all xbox so fare and never had this much problem with software as this one

    I can't acces my friends list and I can't invite friends to a group ( errors : 0x87c40000 and 0x87c40001 ) since sunday in the evening , very frustrating !!

    Yes nothing like paying for gold when you can't even play online with friends, hold it isn't that what we are paying them for. To play online with friends!!

    I understand everyone's frustration on this issue, but there are 2 simple solutions that seem to work very well. First, try to simply sign in the your Gamertag using the controller. You shouldn't even have to sign out first, simply selecting "Choose this
    person" seems to fix the issue. If not, you can try signing out and then back in.

    If that doesn't work, hold the power button for about 10 seconds until your Xbox One powers off, wait about a minute or so, and turn it back on. Sign in with a controller and problem should be solved.

    Same thing is happening to me, I'm getting really mad that I can't see who is online or invite anyone to a party. Why can't they ,make the party's work like they did on the xbox 360. Sorry if I sound hasty but for 500 dollars I would hope for simple functions
