0x87af000d. Asked to clear space

Do you have enough space on your Xbox for Fortnite? You should be prompted to clear some space if not.

If not you will need to clear up some space, by uninstalling a game, or some apps.

Space is completely clear.

Hi it is normal for a new or out of box game to ask you to install an update when it is first played.

Do you have enough space on your hard drive or memory stick for the update?

As above Defiance requires 10 GB of hard disc space to play so lease ensure you have enough room.

As others suggest a patch has been released but if having issue please try deleting the update file from your storage – you should be asked to download again next time you pay – be careful not to delete your game data.

It may also be worth clearing your cache support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache
