0x876c0001 marketplace with french canada. works with english canada

I changed my location info to the following, restarted, and it worked.

Language: English

Location: Canada

Spoken Language: English (Canada)

When I changed back to USA I had the error again. so, it's probably something on Microsoft's end. I had some games i wanted to buy, though. I don't think it's wise to buy them under Canada?

 

Hey there, So Xbox apparently doesn't want my money. Anytime I try and and go to the games section of the store I am greeted with a big *** of a message saying content isn't available and gives me the code (0x876c0001). I literally used the store 5 hours
ago to buy tales from the borderlands and download worms battlegrounds. I have read the other threads and a factory reset is complete BS. I did a factory reset earlier in the year and it took me two days to get everything back to how I had it. So does Xbox
just not care about this problem? Am I seriously going to have to do a full reset because Xbox live is garbage? Getting ready to switch back over to my PS4, I never had any of these problems, especially when I'm trying to buy a *** game for 60 dollars....

 

No. It's definitely not wise to buy under the wrong country for you. Use the Bing workaround until whoever is sleeping at the XBL wheel wakes up and gets it back on the road. You can always buy games for the XONE on the xbox.com store too (PC, tablet,
whatever).
