0x838601e7 Error with syncing data from cloud storage

I am getting this issue with Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin, essentially the game works perfectly and I could continue playing but the saved data cannot sync from the cloud storage. One thing that was recommended for me to do that I have seen on
another thread here is to delete local saves and power cycle my Xbox, after doing both of these things I still cannot get my data to sync from the cloud and I have deleted it from local storage. So it is either I lose a lot of progress and start all over or
there is another solution that I am currently unaware of, please help. Another thing to note is that every time I try to sync it, it stops at 50% and then displays an error message with either the error code posted in the title, or another error message stating,
"We couldn't sync your data with the cloud just now. Try syncing again or use this game or app offline. (8083201d)"

I also feel it is important to note that cloud storage works with syncing for other games, such as Dark Souls 3. Is my game save corrupt for Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin or is there anything I can do?

Syncing errors with Fallout 4

for syncing issues, go to settings> system settings>storage> clear local save game data> this will clear any saves from the hard drive and will have you resync with the cloud. Also you can try playing offline and then while in the middle of the game or right
after it starts going back online.

Okay so I deleted my saved files locally by going through the settings and then to storage and deleted all of my local files, and despite the fact that I had already delete the save file for dark souls 2 through the manage game option, this somehow worked
instead. No idea why but hopefully this will help someone else. So if you're having this issue just delete all of your local files through settings and then when you reboot the game it should sync just fine.
