    So recently I got ungrounded from video games after a few weeks and when I first try to log into my account, it says I have to send a request due to me having a child account. so I press to send a request and it doesn't work on the computer but it works fine on the box so I get time on the box but Fortnite was blocked on the box so I have to send a request to use Fortnite, but then when I do it says "Something went wrong" so I restarted everything basically multiple times, the pc, the Xbox, even the internet and it still doesn't work! What may be the problem is beyond me because all the devices are connected to the wifi and the wifi is running pretty well as per usual. please help me out here!!!

    0x80a40026 problem

    I would recommend removing your account from the Xbox and sign back in to fix. However, If the issue still persists, remove your account from the family account (via a browser on the computer) and then re-invite. You won't lose any game data but all of the content restrictions and screen time settings will be reset to their defaults.

    Have you figured out anything yet? My son is having the same issue
    I just had this same problem with my son's account when he tried to play fortnite. Had to remove his account from the xbox and sign back in to fix. Thankfully he didn't lose anything.

    If You Have Bought The Game On The Account You Are Trying To Play On I Do Not Know. Ask A Parent To Sign In To The Parent Account And Then Go On The Game Then Press "Select Account" Choose The Account You Got The Error On And It Should Work Fine.
