0x80a40010 Xbox Login Error - DNS solution?

Couple of guys recommend to change DNS on the console to iranian server 178.22.122.100

They claim that it solves the problem.

Can it really help? Any risks?

I would not change your dns. Usually if your having xbox login errors its with your ports on your router. Hope this helps!

 

Can you confirm the ukrainian IP adress has no access to download profile even to play offline ?

 

No, downloads going well. Offline gaming certainly going well, because console is OK. Login from PC / phone to profile is possible. The only problem - you can not login from the console for online gaming. The problem started 3 days ago. No answers from support.
Rebooting and resetting console and routers does not help. The problem is reported throughout Ukraine and some other countries, some people posting from US also.

It looks like contact to servers is OK - if you type wrong password, console asks to correct. But if you type right - then Temporary service error message goes on.

 

Yup but I deleted my account from console following the advice of these help guys.

Now I`m stuck at this error trying to download account (profile). No game launches without profile, even offline.

 

I made reset keeping data, so it does not help. Still can play offline from disc.
