Backwrd compatibility

I get error code 0x8082000c when I try to play my xbox 360 disc on the xbox one. Says it won't play, but the game is backwards compatible. Why?

Neither will my Call of Duty/World at War on my Xbox One S.

 

might be an issuse with the game it self try uninstalling the game reset your xbox then reinstall the game see if that works

 

1. Is it just Battlefield 3 that won't play or is it other games that don't play either?

2. If other games won't start do they give the same error code?

3. Did you enter that code into the search box? and, if so, what did the site give back?

4. I ask because I can't start several games on my console and get the error code 0x800705aa every time I tried.

5 I tried 3 to 5 different games and all of them gave me the same error message.

 

hey guys I don't know if you figured this out yet but I just outsmarted Xbox support. All you do is put the disc in and search for the game in the store, it will give you an option to install instead of buy. Hope this helps

 

it's not a game issue. It's a backwards compatibility issue, you need to have the disc in AND go install the game from the store in order to even get it going in the first place. Took me literally an hour and much back and forth with support to figure it
out for myself. They wanted me to factory reset my console. Nooooo way.

 

if there asking you to reset your console to see if that will help means that they don't know jack sh** and that they probably will not or cannot fix it from there end. very disappointing!

I mean I have the campaign stuck on the flying mission or whatever the hell its called every time freezing and all of the above
