0x80820002 error Sorry we can't play disc

Success! I exchanged my Xbox this evening, updated and it works! It looks like MS has fixed the update. If you have this error you should exchange it for a new one. It should work now.

 

i think replacement is the best solution so far, as long as it's quick, otherwise it's never a satisfactory solution.

and for me, i can't easily get a new one, cuz im living across the ocean, it's the least option for me to send the machine back to US and get my friend handle this ***...

though I could do the above right away, IF the official makes it clear that there will be NO PATCH soon...

that had been more annoying than the error itself, because the official is not denying a "misleading" information

 

I'm going to trade in my brand new paperweight for a new one tomorrow and see if the issue has been fixed. I swear to God if the next Xbox pulls this crap on me too I'll switch to a PS4.

 

Just talked to MS support, it seems that it will take 15-20 days until i get my nem xbox. This is so frustrating. And to think i went to the store to buy a PS4 and changed my mind in the last second. Guess i had that one coming.

Same problem as everyone on here Got a new console today is the update live or should we still wait i see guys got it goin but thats not enuff people saying it works anyone else working plz hellllpppp lol

 

if it works whats the size of the new update

 

I go for an exchange

I do the update at the store because the technician was kind and I am kind too ;-)

I want to be sure the console is working good.

Finally after one hour and 2 updates. It is ok the game are detected. I can play now

Good start for the xbox one, we expect that the prize means quality 600 euros without the games and other stuff but...
