    At the company where I work, we maintain a version of our application that is for development and testing our app on Xbox, and it is published in a way so that it is only available to those within our organization. Starting about a year ago, I began receiving
    reports that some in our organization were having trouble downloading and installing the app. Intermittently, they were receiving an error code 0x803FB005. I advised them to update, restart the Xbox, and then try again. This has worked for everyone so far,
    but now I am having the problem on one of my personal Xbox One consoles these steps will not resolve the issue.

    Things I have done:

    1. Updated Xbox

    2. Cold boot of console

    3. Removed account and added it back in

    4. Uninstall / reinstall of app

    5. Reset console with games and apps

    Yes, I checked if my email address was still in the ACL.

    Nothing has worked. No matter how many times I try, the app will not download and install on this console, even if I have no trouble with my other consoles.

    Actual information on what error code 0x803FB005 means would be super helpful given that I am a developer and that could help me trace down the root of the problem.

    Please do not punt me somewhere else for an answer to this question just because it is a developer app. I see there are similar questions asked by users because they could not download and install some retail apps and received the same error code. What does
    this error code mean?

    I am dealing with the same code (0x803FB005) and issue trying to install the Starz app and other apps on an xbox one s. I have also power cycled the console, etc.

    Literally the exact same problem. Just rented a movie from the store, then cannot download the Movies&TV app, and receive error code 0x803FB005 on my XBox One. I can update apps already on my console just fine so it is not my Live/network/profile with
    the issue.

    I previously encountered error 0x803FB005 when trying to update Game Bar (System Components) in Microsoft Store - that's now fixed, thank you.

    Next problem, like others have mentioned, is that the Xbox app in Microsoft Store needs an update, but it's stuck on "Downloading". Will keep trying.
