0x803FB005 error when trying to download an app from the Xbox Store

I hope I can get some help on this. When I try to download the Dolby Access app on my X1X, I receive error: 0x803FB005 My brother has an X1X on the same network, and it downloads and installs the app fine. I have updated my X1X to the latest system software,
and restart my X1X a couple of times, and I still get this error. I get the same error when I download the Spotify app as well (tried it for testing). I was successful with starting the install of Gears 4, but that was already in my library, I never had Dolby
Access or Spotify before trying to install them today. I was also successful with downloading and installing Black Desert Online Beta a few days ago. Any guidance or support to get this resolved would be much appreciated. I would like to get my new Dolby Atmos
system set up, and the Dolby Access app is needed for this. Thanks in advanced.

0x803FB005 installation stopped when installing anything new from the store

Literally the exact same problem. Just rented a movie from the store, then cannot download the Movies&TV app, and receive error code 0x803FB005 on my XBox One. I can update apps already on my console just fine so it is not my Live/network/profile with
the issue.

I wanted to download the Fireplace for Xbox App and it keeps giving me the error 0x803fb005 restarted, rebooted, power cycled, nothing.

If you're having problems with an app you got from Microsoft Store in Windows 10, here are some things you can try:

Update Microsoft Store: Select the Start button >
Microsoft Store . Select See more > Downloads and updates >
Get updates. If an update for Microsoft Store is available, it will start installing automatically.

Repair and reset the app: Select the Start button >
Settings > Apps >
Apps & features. Select the app that's not working, and then select Advanced options. On the page that opens with information about the app, select
Repair. (Note: Some apps don't have this option.) If repairing the app doesn't fix the problem, select Reset.

Uninstall and reinstall the app: Select the Start
button. In the list of apps, right-click the one that's not working, select
Uninstall, and select Uninstall again to confirm. To reinstall the app, select the
Start button > Microsoft Store >
See more > My Library >
Apps. Then select the app you want to reinstall, and select
Install.

Try running the troubleshooter for Microsoft Store apps. Select the
Start button > Settings >
Update & Security > Troubleshoot >
Windows Store Apps.

If you can't find Microsoft Store, see Trouble finding Microsoft Store in Windows 10. If you're having trouble launching Microsoft Store,
see Microsoft Store doesn't launch. If you can launch the Microsoft Store but you are just having trouble finding or installing an app, see I

Hi,

there are some issues in the Xbox Live System related to content purchase and usage.

I suggest you to wait and retry later. You can also choose to receive a notification when the problem will be solved

I previously encountered error 0x803FB005 when trying to update Game Bar (System Components) in Microsoft Store - that's now fixed, thank you.

Next problem, like others have mentioned, is that the Xbox app in Microsoft Store needs an update, but it's stuck on "Downloading". Will keep trying.

I had the same issues and nothing was working for me untill i reset my xbox and i dont mean turn it of and back on again i mean like propper reset it.

with this being said i was able to reset it and keep all my games and apps so ultimatly it didnt take to long.

to do this you just need to go onto your xbox settings then console information then reset xbox, this will then give you 2 options you can decide which way you plan on going but as I said keeping the games and apps worked for me so it wouldnt hurt to try
it first
