    0x803f900a error code (and what we did to fix it)


    Tried getting into Halo 5 Guardians, and i received error code 0x803f900a which in a nutshell asked me to sign in with the xbox live account used to purchase the game. I purchased this game as a hard copy and had the disk in the xbox, so that error message
    did not make sense. Below is a list of the steps I took in conjunction with Xbox Customer support

    1) Soft reboot (didnt fix the issue)

    2) Hard reboot (holding power button until it fully restarts, didnt fix the issue)

    3) Hard reboot w/ unplugging power cord (didnt fix)

    4) Uninstalling/reinstalling the game - as I was reinstalling the game, i received "check your disk, it might be dirty or damaged error 0x87e00064). At this point, I was instructed that the only option was to buffer the disk and try to resurrect the disk.
    Beyond that, I would have to buy a new disk.

    Tried to update our X-box 360 and got this error code 43C5-445E-B380-0F00-C000-000E.

    We cannot find any information about this error code. What does it mean and how can we fix it?
