    0x803F8001 now fixed, Minesweeper lives again!


    New version of "Xbox Identity Provider" app seems to have fixed the problem, probably resolves the same issue with other games too.

    Minesweeper won't open

    Today, for the first time, when I tried to open Minesweeper I got a message that Minesweeper is not currently available in my account. An error message -- 0x803F8001 -- was included in the message. However, in the store, Minesweeper is listed as "installed".
    What gives?

    I get a 0x803F8001 code and it won't start. ??

    Minesweeper worked fine for 20 months. Since a recent update I get a 0x803F8001 code and it won't start. ??

    Can't download any updates so can't play Daily Challenges

    My problem was fixed overnight. But, now, Minesweeper is in a similar situation. Perhaps tomorrow, it will also miraculously be fixed.

    Same here. Minesweeper Daily Challenges worked perfectly yesterday, error code 002000 today 01 Dec 2017.

    It took Microsoft over a year to fix the hidden right end of the screen in Adventure mode. Still works today...

    Let's hope it doesn't take that long to fix this one.

    I have 33 PERFECT completions and still want to add more.
    signed out of xbox live, closed minesweeper, reopened, signed in again and all good, no longer got error code 002000 :) can start playing again :)

    All badges missing for the month, yet it still shows the correct coins over 19,000

    I wonder if 8.1 Update 1 fixed it? Because all week it has been working fine and the metals are not longer vanishing. Everything looks to be back to normal now. I don't know what version Minesweeper was before or what update fixed it. But it's all good now.

    Stylus on tablet stopped working for mines and flags on last update

    Add one more. My stylus stopped working on the minesweeper game board. Finger taps still work. The stylus works everywhere else. Looking forward to the fix! Miss the stylus in Minesweeper!
