0x803f8001 Error Xbox Series S

I bought a Series S and want to transfer some of my Xbox One disc games onto it. I have downloaded them to an external storage device and installed them on the Series S. For every game which was on disc I get an error code 0x803f8001 asking for confirmation
that I own the game and the games won’t play. They show as having been installed on the internal drive but don’t appear in the list of owned games. I have reset the machine and made the S my home Xbox but these aren’t digital games and weren’t bought from
the MS Store and I can’t insert the disc to prove I own them. My account is unchanged and I’m signed in to Xbox Live. Any suggestions?

Besides reinstalling the game, may I know if you tried something else?

Error 0x803F8001 occurs when launching an Xbox game or app. Do you own this game or app? If you have a game disc, insert it . Otherwise, make sure you are connected to the Xbox network.

you cannot use disc based games on the series s, you need the disc in the drive to authenticate and prove you own the game. as the series s is all digital you would need the series x to play disc based games.
