    Suddenly in the middle of playing BL3 my game froze and dropped me back to the main menu. Now every time I launch it I receive the error:

    "0x803f8001

    Do you own this game or app?

    If you have a game disc, insert it now. Otherwise, make sure you're signed in to Xbox Live. If you don't have rights for playing it, you'll need to buy it at Microsoft Store."

    I've already referred to: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/errors/error-code-0x803F8001

    These steps did not resolve the issue. The game was purchased on the Xbox console I'm using now, using the only XBL profile I have. If I view the game in the marketplace it acknowledges that I've already purchased
    it. I did have my home console set to another Xbox in the home that my room mate uses, but I've since reverted it's settings back to being the home console hoping that might have an effect, it did not. (Note my room mate also purchased a copy of BL3 on that
    Xbox so I wouldn't think that would impact it anyway as we weren't sharing the game).

    I guess I'm just looking for any advice shy of resetting the Xbox and starting from scratch. I'm not sure if BL3 characters are saved on the cloud or not, and I'm really hoping to avoid having to start over.

    I did not reinstall the game yet because I was worried about losing save data. But if that's the only option I have I'll have to take it.

    Network connection is solid, I can access all other digital games. And I was previously on an insider version but I don't believe I am anymore.

    You Tried make reinstall of the game? If you tried make the Reinstall, I Suggest you make a Report about this error, and call the Publisher game Support.

    Try check your network too, maybe this can be the problem.

    The Last Think, let me ask to you. You use some Insider Version on Your Xbox?
