I've been getting this message for a while when I use the instant on feature. I get it whenever I attempt to switch to a different game or app after turning my xbox back on.

I was told that it was because I used a surge protector by xbox support on the phone. I plugged it into the wall and it worked a handful of times. I ended up returning the xbox to the store and got a new one. New one plugged straight into the wall and it
worked for the first few times, now getting the same message with the new xbox.

I'm curious if it's because I'm part of the xbox insider program. I noticed it started after I joined it. On the previous xbox I attempted to opt out of the program and it didn't fix the issue, even after a factory reset.

I've tried to factory reset, remove my profile and add it again, I've plugged it into a different outlet thinking that the outlet I was using was bad or something.

I cannot accept that I'll just forever use my xbox in the power saving mode. In that mode, whenever I power my xbox up, not only does it take a lot longer to load, but I need to unplug my external hard drive and wireless headset adaptor, and plug them in
again so that the xbox recognizes them. Not acceptable.

Hi! It's also worth a try to do a factory reset with keeping your games and apps (so that you don't have to install them again):

Besides that, you might want to try to leave the preview program in order to check if the issues still occurs afterwards.
