0x8027025a whenever anything is updating

Discus and support 0x8027025a whenever anything is updating in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I have both the Xbox one Original and the Xbox one S and when ever I update anything or download anything to the console I get the 0x8027025 error.     0x8027025a whenever anything is updating


    I have both the Xbox one Original and the Xbox one S and when ever I update anything or download anything to the console I get the
    0x8027025 error. It even appears when trying to open Settings under System.

    I have hard reset the console. The console is completely useless until the download finishes. In order to use the console I have to do 1 of the below:

    1. Wait until the update finishes

    2. cancel the update and restart the console

    I would also like to note that the Updates section under "my games and apps" of the console never shows any updates and constantly sits there refreshing.

    One console is hard wired into our network while the other is running wirelessly.

    This is very frustrating. as the fixes online for this error make no difference as I still have to update my games before I am able to play them.

    Frustrated...

    Doesn't the game give a little indicator that it's updating your challenges? I just quit and saved whenever I saw it updating my challenges and it's worked so far.

    Rainbow Six Siege 'has taken too long to start'

    I have owned Rainbow Six Siege since its launch, and now whenever I load it (or attempt to do so) it comes up with an error saying "Please Try Again : for some reason Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege has taken too long to start. (0x8027025a)". Any advice?

    To be sure we have all the info could you let us know the following:

    • Does this happen with both console's?
    • Can you send us a photo of the updates you are seeing and the full error message?
    • Are you seeing Game updates or console updates?
    • Are you using an external hard drive with the console?
    • Have you
      soft factory reset       the console by selecting "Keep my games and apps"?
    • Is your console plugged directly into a wall outlet?

    3. It happens when attempting to install or download games or game updates.

    4. Original Xbox 0ne has an external drive. The One S does not.

    5. not yet, ill give this a go

    6. The Original is plugged into a power board the One S is plugged into a UPS.

    Check out those other steps you tried and then be sure to always plug your Xbox consoles directly into the wall and never use UPSs or surge protectors of any kind.
