Good evening everyone, I'm hoping someone else has experienced this problem.

I know many of us have had this error code and message, but my problem is especially frustrating. About a week ago I received this message and was unable to resolve it by turning off/resetting/hard reset whatever to my machine. I ended up restoring to
factory defaults. After the initial OOBE TV app worked just fine again.

Two days later, I get the same error and I am once again unable to resolve it through all the normal documented methods, all of which involved setting the device to 'Energy-Saving Mode' and hard resetting the console. Again, after a day of frustration,
I restore to factory defaults, and perform OOBE once again.

I have restored this unit 3 times today. And I am once again facing this error with no resolution. Especially frustrating because I have a Beta device as well and have not had any issues with it since I received it last July.

Has any one else experienced this problem? Should I just bite the bullet and exchange it at the Microsoft Store?

I have tested with my Rogers Nextbox 3.0, a Western Digital Live TV, a Nintendo Wii U and a Surface RT with HDMI. I also do not have a receiver in between, I am running the Xbox One 4k HDMI cables.

    :)

    OrphunKripplerX,

I am sorry to hear about the issue. To get a better idea of what is at play here, the following information is very useful.

    1. Make AND Model of STB (cable/sat box) (does the Rogers Nextbox 3.0 have a make and model)

    2. Layout (example: STB HDMI Xbox One HDMI TV) (please note splitters and hubs) of both setups*

    3. *Is the Beta device another Xbox One?

The reason why I ask is because if one works and the other doesn't, it could be conditions. One model or one setting difference between not working, and working.

This could also be HDMI cable related as well. Be sure to use 1.4 or 2.0 RATED cable. An unrated cable could be anything (likely 1.3), and yes it would cause the error message seen. 8027 is normally associated with a Windows kernel corruption. If that is
    the case this will help:

Let me know how it goes.

    -Cheers
