    0x8024401F When trying to reinstall the Blue Ray player app. As a Preview Inside member


    I'm an Xbox One Preview Inside member. After last nights OS update version to:10.0.14393.2149 rs1_xbox_rel_1610.161205-1900 fre. The Blue Ray Plater app showed a update. I attempted multiple times to update the app. The app gave an error code of: 0x8024401F.
    I unintstalled the app atemped again to redownload the app. And it kiccked the app out with the same error code after downloading only 245k out of 29.5 mb file.

    I then preceeded to forward the probme on thru report a problem with a screenshow and error log file. Both yahoo, goggle and xbox error code tables do not show that the error code losted above was a real error.

    Other then being in preview mode. what would be the cause of the error?

    Error Code 0x8024401F occurred when I was trying to install 4K Blu-ray drivers so that I can use my X Box One to play these disks.

    Trying to download blu ray player app. Error code 0x8024401F

    I'm simply trying to download the blu ray player app and it just stops randomly stating the error code 0x8024401F. Is this a system error? I'm connected to the internet and this has happened several times. Any advice?

    is it happening with blue ray or is it in apps. I know there was an issue when the idle mode was being tested in the Insider Preview, a couple of years back. Try removing the app, powering off the console and unplugging for at least a minute, then power
    up again and see if that helps. If that doesn't work, go to settings>systems>console info>reset console and select rest keeping all games and apps.

    While I saw a 3D option for a brief second in the Blu-ray settings panel, it disappeared. The Blu-ray player hasn't been updated yet to support 3D. I tested with a 3D disc and got the normal error message, then deleted the player and reinstalled it. The
    app creation date is still showing as November, 2013. They've stated an updated Blu-ray app is coming later in the preview.

    I CAN'T PLAY ANY OF MY GAMES !!!

    While it does attempt to launch the blue ray player app (unlike every other app), it doesn't actually do anything beyond sit at a blue screen that says blue ray.

    It started with live sign in problems and the 100% packet loss and then stopped responding to anything.
