    I bought this Xbox one s about a week ago. I am getting this error code on a number of apps and games. for example on my amazon video app and on the fallout shelter app. when I searched the code it says it doesn't exist. I am getting very irritated by this.
    Anyone know what it could be?

    What does code 0x80240031 mean?

    I am getting error code 0x80240031 when trying to install Fallout Shelter. That is the only game I experience this issue with. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to fix it?

    I tried asking in the Fallout section, but no responses yet.

    Same problem with me except this is happening after a game crash and re download I have lost money I spent on the game and Microsoft did nothing to help except say call Bethesda and they said call Microsoft back and forth now i have bought a new Xbox one
    S and this error code adsolute garbage.
