0x80131904 error code, xbox one

I had tried power cycling the console, same issue. Logging on to the site just came up saying too many repeated attempts and the page refreshed itself attempting to log in about 5 times. I ended up solving the problem by changing the password online then
entering the new password onto the console.

I was having the same issue as OP and getting the same error code. I followed your steps and it solved my problem. Cheers

power cycle the console? Once it is off then unplug the console for 30 seconds. Are you also getting the same error on the PC? Any additional information will help us determine best way to assist you.

Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums for this issue. Sorry to hear that you're getting that 0x80131904 error when trying to sign in. There don't seem to be any service alerts out right now for signing in, so that is good. Sometimes this does
happen when a profile on a console has been corrupted somehow (and usually out of the blue!).

I recommend you try the following:

1. Remove your profile from your console.
2. Restart your console.
3. Re-add your profile to the console.

This will re-download a fresh copy of the profile and should clear everything up. Here are some links on how to do those actions, based on what type of console you are using:
