    0x80073cfe still a problem, still not identified, still not answered.


    Bought Forza Horizon 3 and got Dragon Age Origins via Gold on Xbox One Downloaded and attempted to launch. Got error code 0x80073cfe on both. Went to your website and Microsoft says they don't recognize their own code. Tried reboot, unplug for 30 seconds
    and restart, uninstall and reinstall to no effect. I see unanswered posts about this going back a year. I will purchase no new Microsoft product until this is addressed.

    Hello. Unfortunately, there is no way to restore a deleted message on your xbox 360 console. The support team just doesn't have the tool to recover that kind of data. The promotion wasn't for any 'exclusive' content, which means you can also buy the avatar
    outfit on the dashboard for about 400 microsoft points.

    Uh oh... that shouldn't have happened.

    Yeah i know they're supposedly tracked which is why i cannot understand that it is not just a simple fix.

    It will be obviously clear that i have not used my " assigned code" and i want to clam it basically. - I DID NOT receive any confirmation of this promo in any other way except for the message through the dashboard itself; IF they did however send you an
    email alongside the promo then this would solve a lot of heart ache!!!!

    Optionally - don't make it so easy to press delete as the first option on the message, have a " are you sure" option for The XBOX LIVE messages. not nessesarily all messages.

    Check your network connection to make sure you are connected then factory restore but keep your game and apps

    Go to network settings > advance settings > alt mac address > clear then restart to make sure you are connected

    Check your Xbox for updates in my games and apps > updates and under settings > system > updates

    If none of these steps work go to settings > system > console info > reset console

    Yeah its been a little dodgy for ne, works fine one minute then another it'll take me to the read only forum, not too bothered really as it's the first day.
